The subject and title are still under wraps. For now, at least.<\/p>\n<p>While in the United Kingdom, my thoroughly charming father-in-law, <strong>John Charles Clemence<\/strong>, QPM*, in his capacity as the Chairman of the City of London branch of the Royal Society of Saint George,\u00a0hosted a rather sumptuous dinner for a mere 400-plus people at the spectacular <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cityoflondon.gov.uk\/about-the-city\/history-and-heritage\/mansion-house\/Pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Mansion House<\/strong><\/a> in the true heart of the City.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sandralee.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Mansion-House.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1481\" alt=\"Mansion House\" src=\"https:\/\/sandralee.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Mansion-House-300x217.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"217\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sandralee.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Mansion-House-300x217.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sandralee.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Mansion-House-1024x741.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a<a href=\"http:\/\/www.spectator.co.uk\/australia\/australia-diary\/9123211\/mother-country-diary\/\" target=\"_blank\"> link<\/a> to a Diary I wrote for <strong>The Spectator<\/strong> magazine last month about the not-so-small event and the trip to London, a city that is utterly thriving once more.<\/p>\n<p>An aside.
