Just before Christmas I headed to London to conduct some interviews and do research for my fifth book, which will be published in 2015 in hardback by Random House Australia. The subject and title are still under wraps. For now, at least.

While in the United Kingdom, my thoroughly charming father-in-law, John Charles Clemence, QPM*, in his capacity as the Chairman of the City of London branch of the Royal Society of Saint George, hosted a rather sumptuous dinner for a mere 400-plus people at the spectacular Mansion House in the true heart of the City. Mansion House

An aside. When in London, everyone should see a concert inside the Albert Hall, especially one performed by the staggeringly brilliant London Symphony Orchestra. Good for the soul.

*QPM stands for Queen’s Police Medal and is awarded to police officers for gallantry and distinguished service. table
